Dirty Dancing (1987) stars Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze in an iconic and romantic dancing classic! Set in the 1960s, Frances Houseman (known as “Baby”) is seen as a bit of a “daddy’s girl” and has had a very much privileged upbringing with her family having high expectations of her, expecting her to go to college and one day marry a doctor. When on vacation in a family resort in upstate New York’s Catskill Mountains, Baby meets a dancing instructor, Johnny Castle, who comes from a working-class background and has had a very different upbringing to Baby. Nevertheless, they form a great bond and Baby even has to fill in as Johnny’s dance partner which leads them to eventually fall in love and the rest is history…

We won’t spoil the rest for you, however the film takes some unexpected twists and is a dramatic dancing classic which will have you on the edge of your seat.
